Subject: Welcome to TPUSA Communities!
Hi,
You are receiving this email because you expressed interest in TPUSA Communities either through the website, or talking to me directly. Either way, welcome! This is the first-ever email from the "San Francisco Bay Area Families Chapter".
What is TPUSA Communities?

In addition to colleges, high schools, and churches, Charlie Kirk was working on expanding into America's communities. He had started with Rise, a community for urban/minority, and it has since grown to include Families, Heroes (first responders / military), and Young Professionals (under 40). We are the city chapter for San Francisco Families and phase one is "strength in numbers" by building membership in Marin/Sonoma since that's where I live and go to church and then we can "head into the city" which should be… fun!
What are we doing?

This is a volunteer group that organizes community events ranging from cleaning up parks, to homeless outreach, to worship festivals, to attending school board meetings, to event "tabling". The idea is to enrich our communities by enriching the lives of those around us while celebrating the American values of faith, family, and freedom. We can engage the culture and be salt and light for Biblical values, pray for others, discuss California politics, etc., but we (as a chapter) cannot endorse specific candidates nor have them speak at events due to the 501(c)(3) status of TPUSA. More on the chapter here: tpusasfbay.com.
Who am I?

My name is Chad Arimura, for those who haven't met me. I live in Novato with my family, and will be leading the effort to build up the chapter membership and leadership team, manage the event calendar, work with the social media team to recognize and promote the work we do, etc. I've been in the tech world for almost 30 years, and am currently on break from that spending a decent chunk of time on this. More on me here: chad.cm.
Announcing our first event!

What: Harvest & Freedom Festival
When: Saturday, October 17th, 1pm – 4pm
Where: Josef Hoog Park
RSVP: luma.com/mg3cyybj
Just a few days ago, Sarah and I were talking about how Halloween has gotten a little too weird for us, so instead we wanted to fill the month with opportunities to celebrate things that are "pure, lovely, and of good report". There will be food, fun games, kid activities, fellowship, and some live music if I can convince a few others to play (otherwise it's me and my 7-year-old). So come join us and meet the members of the chapter as well as others from the community!
Please RSVP as we do have a park capacity.
Note: this festival was later postponed — see the September 30 update.
Membership & Staying in Touch
Membership is simple: stay in touch and show up from time to time.
Staying in touch options:
- Stay on this email list (no action needed)
- Join our Telegram channel
- Subscribe to the calendar or periodically visit tpusasfbay.com/events
If you decide you aren't interested, no problem, just unsubscribe from this email AND let me know so I can make sure you aren't on the members list.
If you are too far from the Bay Area, reach out to me and I can help sort out next steps. Maybe there should be a chapter closer to you!
Finally, if you have ANY questions at all, just respond to this email. I'm happy to answer them all, even jump on a call or meet for coffee!
Thank you again for your interest in making our community a better, safer, cleaner, and more faith-filled place.
Welcome and God bless.
Chad Arimura
